Technology Education

in the Lower School

Students in The Lower School find many ways to challenge themselves through the use of technology.  Whether it be using one of the dedicated student computers in their home classrooms to type a report or work on grade specific software or working with digital cameras or microscopes, opportunities for technology integration are endless.

Keyboarding is a major component for Lower School students.  Students begin developing keyboarding skills in Kindergarten and are assigned Weekly Tech Checks from grades 2 through 6.  It is our belief that students should be confident and capable communicators using the technology we have available.
