Three Master's School students attended a luncheon Tuesday, September 27 sponsored by the World Affairs Council of CT in Hartford. The luncheon's speaker was Dr. Ralf Horlemann, Consul General of Germany in Boston. The discussion topic was Brexit from a German perspective and the future of the European Union following this Great Britain's recent referendum to leave the EU. Students had a chance to meet and network with numerous other diplomats including the General Consul of Peru and Ted Carroll, President of Leadership Greater Hartford.
Last spring The Master's School initiated an Alumni Guest Lecture Series. Once a month alumni from a wide range of years and occupations are invited to speak to the senior class. They come to share their stories, relating how the school impacted their lives and encouraging the seniors to stay connected to each other and the school after their graduation. The relationships forged here are often for a lifetime.
