 The Tree

The tree is the symbol of The Master’s School Leadership Academy.   What is visible to all above ground is only a small portion of what makes a strong tree.  The roots and soil represent the unseen part of our lives, our character.  Like roots, character is essential for the development of a leader.  Skill without character is dangerous.  Growing up without growing deep will result in a leader unable to withstand the storms of life.  TLA seeks to build on the character development already engrained in the TMS curriculum, while at the same time teaching the skills necessary to become a servant leader who will transform the world.  A healthy leader will produce fruit, transform lives and  grow more “trees” from the seeds planted.
