Welcome to the Website Home for The Master’s School, located in West Simsbury, Connecticut. Our school serves over 40 towns in and around the greater Farmington Valley. It is my distinct privilege to invite you to make The Master’s School a partner in your child’s education. We are proud of the history of our school and would love to share it with you and your family. It is my hope that our website is informative and most importantly, that it will be the start of a personal dialogue as we explore the opportunity of becoming partners in education.
As you consider The Master’s School, please know that our goal in sharing this information is to be uniquely transparent about our mission, purpose and process. In education, transparency forms the foundation for the most critical ingredient in our healthy and successful relationship, TRUST! As a parent, you are the expert on your children and carry hopes and dreams for their future, as a student, you have your own goals and aspirations for your future. We want to share in those dreams and work with you to better their achievement.
My wife Rene’ and I have been blessed to see the impact of a college-preparatory, Christian education while raising our 3 children. We have seen, firsthand, the depth of character that results from an intentional and cooperative relationship between our home and the faculty and staff at school. We have witnessed astounding growth in our children, academically, physically and spiritually, as they learn in an environment infused with hope, opportunity for achievement, and high expectations for their future. Throughout their education, the influence of both peers and adults in their lives has been staggering. With each grade, we experienced the power of an educational process fueled by an intentional and well-executed growth strategy. This culminated not only in preparation for college, but for life. It is this preparation that inspires us to view education as an investment with lifelong dividends. Our lives have been forever impacted through the supportive and rich learning community surrounding our family.
Such an experience is not only possible at The Master’s School, but is an EXPECTATION that every administrator, teacher, and staff member works toward achieving on a daily basis. This educational opportunity is only possible with staff members who know each student as made by God. This is the heart of the staff at The Master’s School and this is the basis for truly investing in each student as they grow toward their full and unique design.
