Early Childhood Program

At the Early Childhood Program we are blessed to work with young children, and their families, during the exciting stage when they are just beginning their experience with school. We believe that each child is a gift from God and we are honored to share this brief but very important time with them.

First experiences create the foundation for everything that follows. At the ECP we are committed to fostering wonder and delight in learning. Our curriculum is based on the CT Preschool Framework and is designed to encourage exploration and discovery while supporting and strengthening emerging skills. A balance of structured and independent activities support children as they learn to focus their energy, make decisions, develop new skills and form friendships. Being a Christian preschool also means that we offer a complete curriculum that includes all areas of development - social, emotional, physical, cognitive, creative and spiritual.

The dedicated staff at the ECP are very committed to the growth and development of young children; all of our teachers are specifically trained in early childhood education which means that they understand the unique needs and learning approach of this age group.

Being a part of The Master's School Early Childhood Program means that we get to share in the wonder, joy and challenges that learning and growing with children brings.

We look forward to talking with you about our program and your children as you choose what is best for your family.

Blessings,

Deb DeBisschop

Director of the Lower School
