The Master's School Early Childhood Program offers the following programs for preschool children. Eligibility is based on birth date. Children in the three or four year old programs must be of age by December 31 of the year in which they start school.
Before school care beginning at 8:00 a.m. is available for ECP siblings of EK- grade 12 students that attend The Master’s School.
Three Year Olds
Explorers: Two Day Mornings (T,Th)
Adventurers: Three Day Mornings (M,W,F)
Four Year Olds
Investigators: Five Day Mornings (M-F)
Navigators: Three Day Afternoons (M,W,F)
Note: Final Placement is at the Director’s discretion.
A Typical Day
Starting the day together, greeting the teacher and friends, talking about the events of the day.
Teachers and children engage in a science experiment, nature walk, math, literacy or creative activity which varies from day to day.
Children choose from classroom activities that include blocks, dramatic play, games and manipulatives, art, science exploration, books, and sensory experiences.
Stories, Songs and Finger Plays
Discovering language and literacy together through read-alouds, conversation, rhyme, movement and music.
A time to focus on healthy habits.
Every day, weather permitting, the children enjoy outdoor play.
