Upper School Academics

As a college preparatory school, academics are key to fulfilling our mission.  We offer a fully balanced liberal arts curriculum that prepares students to move seamlessly into rigorous college programs.  Students are encouraged to create a course of study that will not only fulfill the requirements for graduation but will also allow them to pursue a specific area of study at the highest levels.  Electives are offered for students who have completed the departmental requirements for graduation.   AP and college courses are available to students who qualify.  Click here for the 2012-2013 Course Catalog.

College Now Program

Advanced students are offered the opportunity to take college courses at area college campuses through the College Now program.  Applicants for this program must have the approval of parents, Department Head and Upper School Director. Participating Colleges are the University of Hartford, St. Joseph College and most Community Colleges in CT.
