Welcome to Fifth Grade at The Master's School!

Expect the unexpected! There is so much to experience as we learn by reading, writing, listening and talking together.  My name is Mrs. Greta Blanchard and I've been teaching students at The Master's School for over 20 years.  I enjoy involving them through in-depth studies, exploration beyond the classroom, and hands-on projects.  We often partner with experts from outside the school to fully explore a variety of  subjects.  Students in the 5th grade have written and professionally recorded songs, built authentic period furniture, made class quilts and corresponded with authors, politicians and people from other countries.  I approach our studies from a God honoring worldview and in the area of Christian service, engage the students in several beneficial community projects as we try to act upon what we have learned.  We work hard, learn much and have fun throughout the year.  I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree from Gordon College.
