Post Graduate Program
The Master’s School accepts several postgraduate students annually. Postgraduates are students who enroll in an extra year of high school between graduation and matriculation into college. In a typical year, TMS is home to five postgraduate students. Some are seeking an additional year to boost their grades and improve their academic profiles, while others are looking for an extra year of high school athletic experience before making the transition to the collegiate level. Other postgraduates have deemed it wise to pursue another year of high school to gain maturity and to ensure that they are thoroughly prepared for the rigors of college.
Although postgraduates attend TMS for only one year, they are fully integrated into the school community and are valuable members of the senior class.
To be eligible for the Post Graduate Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. At least a 3.0 GPA during their junior and senior years.
2. A SAT score of at least 1,114 or an ACT score of at least 22.
3. Financially able to meet the median variable tuition rate for the Upper School. See Variable Tuition.
