Carol Jones » Bio


Carol is one of our Upper School Mathematics teachers. She teaches Algebra 1 &2, Consumer Math, and AP Calculus. Carol attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina where she was a Pre-Med major. Additionally, she has a Master’s degree in Physics. She has been teaching since she finished graduate school in 1982.


Carol chose to become a teacher because she loves simplifying and explaining ideas in a way that enlightens and enlivens her young students. She chose The Master's School because she loves the educational philosophy of The Master's School and believes that there is a culture of grace which breathes life into young people and empowers them to be their best.


Carol grew up in rural northeast Missouri and currently lives in Storrs, CT. She loves to read, especially on the beach. She also plays the piano and the accordion and enjoys knitting. She is a long-distance runner and she ran her first marathon at the age of 54. A fun fact about her is that she will be getting her first grandchild around the beginning of November!
