Jen is our Assistant Director of Lower and Middle School. She attended Gordon College where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in psychology and missions. Additionally, she attended the University of Phoenix where she got her Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. Jen has wanted to be a teacher ever since she was in Kindergarten. At a young age, her own teachers instilled an excitement for learning and demonstrated how they cared about each student. Jen spent a lot of time growing up working with children in various settings. During college, she worked with international organizations to share God’s love with the children of these countries. Jen decided to teach at The Master's School because of the community that was evident from the moment she set foot on campus. She was intrigued by the way the teachers treated their students and enjoys being able to share her faith with her students and their families.
Although she does not have a lot of free time, Jen loves to read whenever she can. She recently has been enjoying books based on education, but she also likes to read books about mystery or theology. Jen enjoys cooking, trying out new recipes (sometimes creating her own), and spending time with her family.
A fun fact about Jen is that while traveling in Asia, she was able to try many types of new foods, including snake!
