Kim is the Early Childhood Program teacher for the four-year-olds. She attended Lynchburg College where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and furthered her education by earning her Master’s in Education at St. Joseph’s College. She began her career working in various public schools in the area, teaching both elementary grades and tutoring in reading.
Kim teaches at The Master’s School because she loves being able to make a difference in her students’ lives, finding the unique gift God has given to each child. She loves coming to school every day and thinks of TMS as her family.
She is a mother of two children and enjoys being very involved in their schools, as a room parent, chaperone, and PTO president. Some of her interests are spending time with her family (especially at the beach), photography, reading, hiking and enjoying the outdoors. One fun fact is that Kim is a graduate of the Early Childhood Program at The Master's School when it was located at Covenant Presbyterian Church (the Barn).
