Dionne is the Kindergarten teacher here at The Master's School. She teaches her students reading, writing, phonics, social studies, Bible, and mathematics. Dionne has been teaching young learners for 25 years in various schools. Dionne received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Vassar College and began her studies to obtain a Master's degree in Education in the fall of 2017.
Dionne decided that she wanted to become a teacher during her junior year of college when she was enrolled in an early childhood education course. One of her assignments for this course was to observe the preschool at the college. That experience was the beginning of the journey that God had planned for her to become a teacher. Dionne chose The Master's School because of the academic environment, but mostly because of the relationships that the teachers form with their students.
In her spare time, Dionne loves to read, go to the beach, watch movies, and travel. A fun fact about her is that she loves the water, but she doesn’t know how to swim.
