Jessica Sperry » Bio

Jessica is our Upper School English, Composition, and Literature teacher. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in English with a minor in French. Jessica furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s degree in English. Jessica has been teaching for over 15 years and has taught a variety of subjects including French, Composition, English, Modern Literature, American Literature, and World Literature.

Initially, Jessica chose to become a teacher because she called by the Lord. She began her teaching career when she was a teacher’s aide in East Harlem, NY. This experience was very exciting to her because she knew that each day she would be able to influence these student’s lives. Since that experience, she has taught in many different settings and she has even attempted homeschooling, but her true calling is in the classroom setting with her students. Jessica chose The Master's School because she can integrate her faith with her teaching.

A fun fact about Jessica is that she lives out in the country with her husband, three kids, ducks, chickens, quail, fish, dogs, and a stray cat.
