TMS completes successful Food Drive

The Master’s School successfully completed a month-long food drive in support of FISH / Friends in Service to Humanity of Northwestern Connecticut, Inc., located in Torrington, CT. FISH is a critical resource to those suffering from food insecurity through their food pantry services. At last count, they are serving over 1,600+ people in need on a weekly basis. In addition, they offer the largest emergency homeless shelter in Northwest CT – providing families, individuals, and veterans a safe and secure haven.

National Honor Society members headed up the food drive, collecting food and cash donations from both TMS families and the local community. These students transported over 1,200 food items to the food pantry yesterday and presented them and a $300 monetary donation to FISH. They also donated 30 fleece scarves, handmade by NHS members, to Joseph's House, a Christ-centered organization whose mission is to bring hope, healing and restoration, to the lost and broken.

Thank you to all TMS families and members of our local community who donated to the food drive!
