Bounce Back Outing for the Lions

After a series of difficult and emotional defeats, the Lions were glad to see the ball find the back of the net multiple times vs TCA.
The game opened with Master's applying lots of pressure, keeping the posession in their offensive half except for a few counterattack opportunities which the back line easily smothered.
Then Gage Arnold opened the scoring, taking a perfectly placed pass from Luke Boucher and finishing decisively. Patrick Marcolesco added on with a lofted ball from 35 yards out to make it 2-0, a score Master's would take into halftime.
Despite the switch in sides the scoring didn't let up, as Luke Boucher and Dom Bergantino each managed to poke second half goals past the Flames' keeper to make it 4-0, where the score sat for the remainder of the match until Michael Baah-Minkah found himself wide open from 5 yards out and toe poked in the fifth. Ten minutes later Ben Frey found himsef open at the top of the box with the keeper out of position for the sixth and final goal.
It's always fun to win, and the energy was joyful after the game. Master's will hope to hold on to that and build on this momentum as they take on Avon Old Farms on Saturday.
