Meg Nesta Drives 6 Runners Home In TMS JV Softball Victory Over Renbrook
Meg N drove in six runs on four hits to lead TMS JV Softball past Renbrook School 16-12 on Monday. Meg doubled in the third scoring two, singled in the fourth scoring two, singled in the first scoring one, and singled in the second scoring one.
Bats blistered as TMS JV Softball collected 10 hits and Renbrook School tallied eight in the high-scoring game.
TMS JV Softball got on the board in the top of the first inning after Meg singled, Ella W singled, and Owyn S grounded out, each scoring one run.
TMS JV Softball jumped back into the lead in the top of the second inning after Meg singled, Ella singled, and Owyn doubled, each scoring one run.
TMS JV Softball flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring five runs on one hit to take the lead, 11-6. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Meg that drove in two.

Lilah M earned the win for TMS JV Softball. The reliever allowed two hits and six runs over two innings, striking out three and walking nine. Ella led things off in the circle for TMS JV Softball. The starter gave up six hits and six runs over two innings, striking out three and walking five.
TMS JV Softball tallied 10 hits in the game. Azzy D and Ella each collected multiple hits for TMS JV Softball. Lilah led TMS JV Softball with four walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing 15 walks for the game. Lucy R, Lilah, and Meg each stole multiple bases for TMS JV Softball. TMS JV Softball stole 13 bases in the game. TMS JV Softball were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Owyn had the most chances in the field with five.
TMS JV Softball goes to Hamden Hall Middle School on Thursday for their next game.
