Laura Coverstone and Ed Poff of JobfitMatters have assisted the Board of Trustees and the Search Advisory Committee, including members of the faculty, current and past parents and alumni, in the Head of School search process. Close to 40 highly qualified candidates from across the United States expressed interest in this position, which affirmed the tremendous opportunity for growth that exists at The Master’s School and in this community. As one of three final candidates invited to visit the campus, Dr. Beck was well received by the faculty, staff and students.
“Dr. Beck’s educational leadership experience, his deep faith and Godly character, his belief in educating the whole child, his expertise in Strategic Planning and Development, and his full support of our mission and core values make him the right person to lead the Master’s School into the future,” said Kathryn Kay, chair of The Master’s School Board of Trustees.
“I am both humbled and excited about being selected as the next Head of School at The Master’s School. My wife, Maura and I thank the Board of Trustees, the Search Advisory Committee, and the faculty and staff for their rigor and thoughtfulness throughout the process. With clarity of mission to glorify Jesus Christ, we look forward to joining the school community in developing the whole person according to the Holy Bible. May God continue to bless The Master’s School.”
