Academics

Middle School

Welcome to the Middle School!

At The Master’s School, we realize that Middle School is a pivotal stage in life.  Throughout these important years, students continue to grow academically, spiritually, and socially. Rooted in our Christian faith, they develop a biblical worldview and are encouraged to think, learn, serve, and work together in ways that honor Christ.

This foundation helps students transition into Upper School while growing in responsibility, character, and the skills they need for lifelong learning.

Educational Philosophy and Pedagogical Foundations

  • We teach to individuals.
  • We support students in achieving mastery of academic skills in all subject areas and learning to set attainable goals.
  • Learning is a shared process requiring hard work and risk-taking.
  • We seek to nurture self-assurance, intellectual curiosity, and individual responsibility in students.
  • Students learn best when responsible, self-motivated, and self-evaluating.
  • We intentionally create conditions in which students can experience success by identifying individual strengths and assisting students in areas in which they need help.
  • Community is vital in developing the whole student.
  • We enable students to see God as the Author of Life and encourage them to seek a personal relationship with Him.
