The TMS Girls fell to Torrington 39 to 29 in a hard fought home opener. Senior Liza Gray led the way with 15 points, going 2 for 4 from distance.  8th grader Leah Langlois grabbed 6 rebounds and added 4 points while freshman Olivia Maher scored 4 pts shooting 33% from the field. Freshman Keira Weed-Allen came off the bench to add 4 much needed points in the second quarter. Everyone on the team contributed with 5 of the 8 players scoring and everyone fighting for rebounds, getting steals and playing hard defense.

The girls played admirably in their first game of the season, competing hard until the final buzzer. Coach Gray is proud of the way the team fought hard against a tough opponent, working together and looking to get everyone involved. Masters will be back in the gym next week, preparing for their game @ Westover next Saturday. Good game girls!
